Premier Laboratory Systems has successfully delivered a bespoke laboratory furniture project for the University of Nottingham, developed to meet the specific demands of a modern university teaching environment.
The client required a highly specialised solution in which all fume cupboards could be viewed from the rear, allowing students to safely observe chemical reactions from a dedicated observation area. This layout creates a more interactive and effective teaching space, while also providing an important additional benefit in terms of safety.
By enabling demonstrations and experiments to be monitored from the back of the fume cupboards, the design helps improve visibility for students without compromising the controlled working environment required for practical laboratory activities.
